There were two Camera Club releases on Bluesanct in 1998:

• Camera Club "Mel-Mar Park" (C-30)
• Camera Club presents "Alpine Wonderland" (C-22)

This 2020 digital re-issue of the two Camera Club albums on Bluesanct expands the original track listing to include the unreleased "Suddenly Starfire E.P." I am unsure if it was recorded before or after the others, but all three albums existed in the Bluesanct archive on CDR under the title "Camera Club presents "The Very Silly Theory""... hence the name of this complete discography re-release.


Camera Club were a band consisting of two of my best friends from when I was living in Chicago in the late 90's, James and Kelly Crawford.

Lo-fi candy colored love songs from two sweethearts, recorded both before and after getting married, if memory serves me right.


FROM THE ORIGINAL BLUESANCT CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION OF "Mel-Mar Park":

"James & Kelly (the coolest Christian couple not on Tooth&Nail) give 15 min of joyous twee song-smithy that rivals anything on K Records... then, we have side B which is another 15 min, but sort of goes off ON a TransAm sort of video game driving music tangent... don't be afraid."
